Soundwaves is a lean Subsonic client which focuses on simplicity, making it the ideal app to connect your iPad or iPhone to your home theater setup. The app is built on the playlist, without unneeded distractions.
On the move
Or you can connect your device to your in-car player (via USB or Bluetooth) and stream music while you’re on the road: Soundwaves can be managed via remote controllers, such as steering wheel controls. CarPlay is supported too, of course.
It can also be configured to stream a low bitrate version of your songs, to save bandwidth. Or you can cache your entire playlist on your device before leaving home, if your data plan is really tight.
All of your music, always with you
Stream music from your own server. Wherever you are, your music is with you. Apart from the classic mp3’s, Soundwaves also support AAC, FLAC, Opus and Ogg Vorbis formats.
Plays well with others
Soundwaves is not that picky about the media server you decide to use: if you prefer Ampache, Madsonic or Astiga (just a couple of examples), it’s fine by us! 🙂
As long as the server supports the same REST API, Soundwaves will work with it.
